Forget everything you know about baking classes. In Bake Backwards, we start where most recipes end — with a finished, fragrant loaf — and work our way back through every fold, rise, and rest, so you actually understand why sourdough behaves the way it does, not just which steps to follow.
This isn't a demo. It's a hands-on Sunday morning around the table with Grannie, my sourdough starter with seven years and 800+ students' worth of stories behind her. You'll leave with your own baked loaf, a real understanding of fermentation, and a slower, calmer relationship with your kitchen.
Small group, home setting, no rushing: just flour, time, and good conversation.
